Testimonials

“I loved watching the smiles on the girls faces as they headed to your class today. So blessed!”
Julia Gonzalez Luna, School Leader (Principal), KIPP Navigate College Prep

“FEM is an amazing elective that I wish was available in more schools. It gave me the opportunity to learn about and connect with inspiring women, while also exposing me to new perspectives on important real-world issues. The experience left a lasting impact and helped shape me into a stronger, more thoughtful leader. I am grateful to Dra. Perez, Danielle, and Tina for inviting me to be part of a such a powerful movement.”
Pilli Cruz, Student, Syracuse University

“Going into FEM I wasn’t really sure what I was getting myself into. I didn’t even know what it meant to be a feminist. this program not only showed me the importance of speaking up but welcomed me into a community where I knew I was included and could share my thoughts. FEM was my safe space. I learned how many things are going on around the world and how I could get involved even if it was simply educating others on what I knew. Sisterhood was a big thing for me in FEM especially since I felt like I didn’t always fit into the community I was in. Being in a group with educated, amazing, strong brave leaders is what pushed me to be my best while also still wanting the best for others! I wouldn’t have been able to do it with out Dra. Perez, Daniella and Tina.I am beyond grateful for the opportunity you have given me! I hope to see FEM in many more classrooms.”
Scarlett Stefanescu, Nursing Student

“I’m happy we’re all learning something new, discussing, and getting inspired in FEM. This, without doubt, is something we’ll remember and use for the rest of our lives to educate, support, and lead others.”
Shana Phan, Student, UC Santa Barbara

Education

Education Builds Brighter Futures.

After School Programs
FEM is working within the organizations reach to create after school programs at participating schools to provide education on human rights.

Educational Events
The best way is the fun way! Stay tuned for the FEM Empowerment Movement roster of hosted and sponsored events.

Open Source Curricula
As FEM builds on the goal to create accredited curricula, nothing is wasted. All curricula are open source – open to discuss, share, educate, and improve.

A Brave New World.
The FEM organization is moving toward the long term goal of creating accredited curricula. This will give students from youth to higher education the opportunity to learn about human rights, acquire tools and gain community, and benefit from financial support through the FEM grant and scholarship opportunities.

Bet on Education.
As the FEM organization develops programs in education and events, we are also working on funding. The majority of the non-profit funding will come from grants and individual donations.

If you believe in what we are doing, partner with us to build future leaders!
